What's Your Couple Travel Vibe?
The Luxuractionists
You don't choose between comfort and adventure — you want both, at the same time. Premium experiences, but never lazy ones.
Try This: Book the experience you've been "someday"-ing — a safari, a guided trek, a dive. Someday can be this year.
Gear worthy of the adventure you're already planning.

You want the trek and the good bed at the end of it. Paragliding in Bir, then somewhere decent to sleep. You're not roughing it and you're not lounging — you want the day to have contained something, and the evening to be comfortable. It's a demanding combination to book and you're usually the ones who do it well.
Where it gets difficult
This is the most expensive way to travel and the easiest to over-schedule, because both halves want their share of the day. You can come home needing a holiday. The other thing to watch is whether the split is genuinely shared or whether one of you is the adventure and the other is the comfort, tolerating half the trip each. Alternate whose day it is instead of compromising on every single one. It's also worth agreeing in advance who decides when to stop. The whole point of this combination is that the day has an end, and someone has to be allowed to call it without it reading as giving up on the trip.
