Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

Cuddlr is built to be used without an account. We don't ask who you are, and we can't tell. This page explains exactly what happens with data when you use the site.

The short version

We don't ask for your name, email, phone number or any other personal detail — there is no sign-up, no login and no account. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate, Google AdSense to show ads, and Amazon affiliate links on some gift suggestions. Your quiz answers and challenge progress stay in your own browser.

What we don't collect

Cuddlr has no user accounts, no login and no database of users. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location or payment details, and there is no form anywhere on the site that collects personal information.

Your quiz answers are not sent to us. Scoring happens entirely in your browser, and the result page you land on is just a normal web address — nothing about your answers is stored on our side.

What stays in your browser

The 10-Step Challenge remembers where you got to, so you can close the tab and come back. That progress is saved in your browser's local storage under the key cuddlr:courtship-challenge. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.

Because it's stored locally, clearing your browser data will erase your progress, and it does not follow you to another device or browser. There is no way for us to restore it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site — which pages get visited, which quizzes get finished, which links get shared. This is aggregate and behavioural: it tells us “the Love Language quiz was completed 40 times today,” not who completed it.

Google Analytics sets cookies and may process technical information such as your approximate location (derived from IP address), device type and browser. Google's own handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and review third-party options at aboutads.info.

Ads are deliberately kept off the pages where you're actually playing — card decks, games, quiz questions and the challenge itself.

Affiliate links

Some gift suggestions link to Amazon. Cuddlr is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something after following one of those links — at no extra cost to you.

These links are search links, not endorsements of a specific seller, and clicking one takes you to Amazon, where their own privacy policy applies. We never see what you buy.

Chat widget

Some pages carry a chat widget provided by Ontroz. If you choose to start a conversation, the messages you type are processed by that service in order to reply to you. Don't share personal or sensitive information through it.

Children

Cuddlr is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children — and since we don't collect personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to delete on request.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalised ads using the links above, and clear your challenge progress at any time by clearing site data for cuddlr.in. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is no account to delete and no data export to request.

Changes to this policy

If we add anything that changes what's collected — an email sign-up, paid features, a new third-party service — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
